I had always felt self-conscious and unhappy about the shape and size of my nose, after many years of indecision I finally decided to seek the advice of a plastic surgeon to try to improve the shape of my nose and overall complexion of my face, with the hope and intention of boosting my self-confidence.
I researched online and went to several consultations before deciding to go with Mr Gateley. He had received great reviews from previous patients, and as soon as I met him I felt very at ease and confident he would be able to achieve the results I was after.
The process involved several chats to talk about what I hoped to gain from the operation, and what was achievable, we then booked a date for the operation.
I was nervous the days before the operation as it was the first general anaesthetic operation I had ever had, as well as the emotional toll of finally having an operation on something that I had always felt very insecure about.
On the day of the operation, I arrived feeling very apprehensive and nervous, however I cannot speak highly enough of how kind and caring everybody was to me. They could see my nerves and made extra effort to make me feel comfortable.
The aftercare was very thorough and I have since been back to see Mr Gateley to talk about how it went. Although all the swelling is yet to go down, I feel so much happier and better about myself, and I am so glad I decided to have the operation done, I now wish I had done it sooner! I cannot recommend highly enough Mr Gateley for anyone who is thinking of having a similar operation.
