A completely successful procedure

Posted Wed 16 December 2020

It was a great shock to learn in February ‘17 that I would need a mastectomy.

It was always something that I had dreaded, as my aunt had one about 50 years ago, - very rudimentary.

So I knew immediately that I wanted immediate reconstruction.

The procedure was explained to me in great detail, and was a complete success.

I still marvel at the intricacy of the procedure, the degree of planning and preparation and the perfection of the result, all of which must have contributed to my easy convalescence.

Radiologists attempt to mammogram it, because it looks better than the other one !

AND for the first time in my life, I have a flat stomach!

Thank you Miss Rose....
