As an 18 year old, the decision to have breast reduction surgery was one that I considered at length and I was understandably very nervous and apprehensive about the operation and also the recovery, scarring etc. However, from my very first consultation with Mr Gateley, I felt reassured and confident to go ahead with the surgery.
On the day of the operation, I had to attend alone due to COVID restrictions but everybody was friendly and kind and put me at ease. The operation went really well and I was back home in the afternoon with minimal pain.
I had several follow up consultations with Mr Gateley and felt well cared for and I knew that at any time I could contact him with any concerns about my recovery. He gave me really helpful advice to minimise scarring and what to expect through each stage of the recovery.
Mr Gateley was very professional yet friendly and approachable throughout, and his team (Madelaine and Nicky in particular) were efficient and helpful.
In summary, I am so delighted with the results and it has had a massive effect on my self confidence. I can assure anyone who is thinking of having this operation that Mr Gateley would be an excellent choice and the results will be life changing.
