I think it’s critical to choose the right Surgeon and Mr Gateley and his team are absolutely brilliant

I first considered Liposuction in the Autumn of 2020 to address the annoying saddle bags and ‘back fat’ that I couldn’t seem to shift. I knew that if I were to have it done, I would ask David Gateley to do it. I had seen him before a couple of years previously for some mole removals and I liked him and trusted him instantly.

I arranged a consultation with him where he very clearly and honestly told me exactly what to expect from Liposuction. He was very straight forward, explaining the pros and cons without being discouraging, but making it clear that I needed to manage my expectations and take on board that the procedure is not without its risks and potential complications. He told me to have a really good think about it, but I knew I couldn’t be in safer hands.

It’s now 2022 and I have had Liposuction on my flanks, back and inner thighs. Not all at once, but I was so pleased with the results of the first procedure that I came back for more!

I was a day patient on each occasion and was able to go home several hours after my operation. Mr Gateley and the nurses explained the after care very clearly and you have to wear a compression garment for 6 weeks after surgery. I found this garment quite comfortable and it certainly helps ensure you get the best results. I had minimal pain from the sutures and Mr Gateley is so skilled and experienced that I have no scarring either.

My silhouette is so much improved and although I didn’t lose as much weight as I thought I might, I look so much better in clothes, have gone down nearly two dress sizes and the lumps and bumps have gone.

I would definitely recommend Liposuction, as it has done so much for my confidence, but I think it’s critical to choose the right Surgeon and Mr Gateley and his team are absolutely brilliant. You won’t regret it and you see results quickly if you follow aftercare instructions to the letter. Good luck!
