Split earlobes are a common presentation to a plastic surgeon for repair. Usually it involves numbing the earlobes, the skin edges are freshened up using a surgical blade and usually a little redirection of the scar at the lower end is also performed and the wound closed, front and back, with sutures that come out at 2 weeks.
Please note that this procedure and our other local anaesthetic procedures are typically carried out at our medical clinic, Naked Health in Wimbledon.
